SMS Opt-In Policy
Low5 Software LLC ("Low5", "we", "us", or "our") sends text messages (SMS/MMS) to customers who have asked to receive them. This policy explains how you opt in, what messages you'll receive, how to stop them, and how to get help. Our SMS program is delivered through Twilio and complies with the CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices and applicable U.S. carrier requirements.
01 How you opt in
We only send SMS messages to phone numbers whose owners have given us prior express written consent. You can opt in to receive messages from Low5 in any of the following ways:
- Submitting your mobile number through a form on low5.software with the SMS consent checkbox selected
- Texting a published keyword (for example, START or JOIN) to a Low5 short code or long code
- Providing your number to a Low5 representative during an engagement and confirming in writing that you wish to receive text messages
Consent is never a condition of purchase, hiring Low5, or receiving any service. You may opt out at any time (see Section 05).
02 Types of messages you'll receive
After opting in, you may receive any of the following message categories, depending on the program you joined:

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS unless you specifically opt in to a marketing program. We do not share, sell, or rent mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties for their marketing purposes.
03 Message frequency
Message frequency varies by program and by your activity. Account and transactional messages are event-driven and may be sent any time you take a relevant action. Informational programs are limited to no more than 4 messages per month unless a different frequency is disclosed at the point of opt-in.
04 Cost
Low5 does not charge a fee to receive SMS messages from us. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Contact your carrier for details.
05 How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from Low5. You may also reply with any of the following keywords:
- STOP
- STOPALL
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- END
- QUIT
After you send one of these keywords, we will send you a single confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any additional messages from that program after the confirmation. If you want to rejoin later, sign up again using any of the opt-in methods in Section 01.
06 How to get help (HELP)
If at any time you forget what messages you signed up for, or need assistance, reply HELP to any message from Low5. You will receive a response containing:
- The name of the program you are subscribed to
- Our support contact (hello@low5.software)
- A link back to this policy

07 Carriers and delivery
Our SMS program is supported on all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your mobile network's effective coverage area.
08 Privacy
Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data collected for this program are treated as personal information under our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile numbers or opt-in consent with any third party except the messaging service providers (such as Twilio) needed to deliver the messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.
09 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to opt in to receive SMS messages from Low5. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided, and that you are authorized to approve charges that may result from receiving these messages.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our SMS program or to comply with new carrier or regulatory requirements. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via SMS or email at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
