Low5 Software LLC ("Low5", "we", "us", or "our") builds and operates mobile and web applications. This policy explains what data our applications collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It applies to all apps published under our Apple App Store developer account.

01 Information we collect

The specific data collected varies by application. Each app's App Store listing includes a privacy nutrition label that details what that app collects. In general, our apps may collect the following categories of data:

Identifiers User ID, device ID To maintain your session and preferences
Usage data Feature interactions, session length To understand how the app is used and improve it
Diagnostics Crash logs, performance data To detect and fix bugs
Location Coarse or precise location Only if the app's core feature requires it; always with your permission
User content Photos, notes, files you provide Only if the app's feature requires it; stored on your behalf
Financial info Payment details Never — all purchases are processed by Apple via in-app purchase

We do not collect data we don't need. We do not sell your data.

02 How we use your information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the app's core functionality
  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • Send transactional messages (password resets, critical updates)
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the product
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell to data brokers, or share with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

03 Information sharing

We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third-party vendors (hosting, analytics, error tracking) that process data strictly on our behalf under data processing agreements. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers. In a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to a successor entity, subject to this same policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

04 Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service or meet legal obligations. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Anonymized analytics and diagnostic data may be retained longer in aggregate, non-identifiable form.

05 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt-out — opt out of any analytics data collection within the app's Settings screen

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@low5.software. We will respond within 30 days.

06 Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at privacy@low5.software.

07 Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach that affects their personal data.

08 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or email at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
